The thing about this video is that it's hilarious - and also slightly sad. Because I know that there are people exactly like this.
I love the British.

Okay, okay, so I know I was going to go to bed, but I had to post this:
John Michael Montgomery arrested
He has been charged with the following:
- driving under the influence
- possession of a controlled drug
- having a prescription drug not in its proper container
- two counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon
- disregarding a traffic control device
- improper turning
The reason I find this so funny is twofold: first, the song mentioned at the end of the article - Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident) - was one that I loved as a kid. That's right. Carmen, hater of all (well, 98.7 percent of) modern country music loved a country song. The reason, however, had less to do with the music and/or content, but rather with the fact that most of song was sung very, very quickly. As those of you who know me IRL know, I talk a mile a minute (I had Rachel's NYC born and bred family telling me I talked faster than anyone they knew). I loved this song that gave me an excuse to sing really, really fast.
I know, it's enough to make you gag, but I adored it at the time.
The second reason I find this so freaking hilarious is that there is a general disdain from many people for the excessive and sometimes criminal tendencies of various Hollywood celebrities. In fact, there is a country song devoted precisely to that: Brad Paisley's Celebrity. I think it's funny that his fellow country star is one of the "adios reality" stars he detests. Do you think he was expecting that?
*is amused*
Okay, I'm done. Definitely bed now.

An' I said: "Hey, pretty lady, won't ya gimme a sign?
"I'd give anything to make you mine, all mine.
"I'll do your biddin' an' be at your beck and call."
Yeah, I never seen anyone lookin' so fine.
Man, I gotta have her, she's a one-of-a-kind.
I'm goin' once, goin' twice, I'm sold!
On the lady in the second row;
She's an eight, she's a nine, she's a ten, I know.
She's got ruby red lips, blonde hair, blue eyes.
An' I'm about to bid my heart good-bye!
I know, it's enough to make you gag, but I adored it at the time.
